Successful presentation of the Smart Eco System partners at Intersolar 2012

View of the booth with the individual sections

For the first time the Smart Eco System partners Diehl, Glen Dimplex, IBM, EMZ, Shaspa and Rocket Home have showed up together on a booth at Intersolar fair 2012 in Munich.

The clear focus of the mutual booth concept was showing strategic alliances between the companies to the visitors as well as giving an idea about huge technical possibilities which can provide a great share for the energy transition.

Thus different sections with topics such as Energymanagement were build up. At each section the interested visitors had the possibility to inform themselves about the particular product area. The open architecture of the system was one of the most impressive points to the visitors. It was the first time that various wireless and wired components of different standards had been shown in a meshed single-provider system. Hence all areas of a building can now be managed centralized.

Seeing a up to now never shown system and geting a live experience on it was very impressive for the booth visitors. This also emerged from the resonance during and after the show. In a live demo various components such as smart home devices, electric storage heater, battery storage, smart meters, solar inverters and an intelligent fridge had been controllable first hand by the Smart Eco System Software. The control and visualisation of the devices was demonstrated using an iPad. Of course also smart phones or (tablet) PC`s can be used for this.
