There is a significant cost increase in 2008. In particular, the energy cost and the labour cost to be expected will hit us hard. In addition, the metal prices which need to be prefinanced by us continue to be at a high level. Much to our regret, we have to pass on a part of the increased costs to our customers. Subject to product it may vary between 3-4.5%. The very energy intensive production of nickel silver products requires already an energy surcharge of 3%. Thank you for your understanding.Read more

Dipl.-Ing. Karl Diehl, Ehrenvorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats der Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG und einer der Mitgestalter deutscher Wirtschaftsgeschichte, ist in den frühen Morgenstunden des 19. Januar 2008 im Alter von 100 Jahren sanft entschlafen. Mit ihm verliert das Unternehmen Diehl seinen Seniorchef, eine beeindruckende Persönlichkeit, die die Entwicklung des Familienunternehmens Diehl ganz entscheidend geformt und geprägt hat. Unerschütterlicher Optimismus, ein besonderes Geschick im Umgang mit Menschen und ein hohes Maß an Schaffensfreude vereint mit Unternehmerischem Weitblick bildeten die Grundlage für den erfolgreichen Lebensweg des Verstorbenen, ohne dessen erfolgreiches Wirken das Unternehmen Diehl in seiner heutigen Form nicht existieren würde.
