Already in 2010 the EVB Energy Solutions was one of the winners of the 4 Echelon Awards. The EVB won together with the EVB IT the “Innovation Award” for the Idea of developing the “Powerline Extender C” – a communication module integrating up to 4 wired MBUS Devices to an existing Echelon PLC Infrastructure. This allows non-PLC-capable devices to use Powerline Communication. Thus the established Echelon PL Communication for Smart Metering is made available to Utilities which have used other meters or modes of communication so far. This year the “Appliance Excellence Award” for the Product-Development “Powerline Extender C” was handed over to EVB and EVB IT at the Echelon VAR Partner Conference in Prague.Read more
