At this year's E-world energy & water, held in Essen from 5-7 February, customers were able to find out how modern power supply and distribution takes place. Under the motto "Energy Solutions by Diehl", the two corporate divisions Diehl Metering and Diehl Controls presented their product portfolio together for the first time ever. Diehl Metering focused on the complete solution approach to smart metering. From intelligent metrology for reading out water, thermal energy, gas and electricity, to systems for automatic meter reading of the energy data through to support for energy services. Customers were able to inform themselves comprehensively about numerous smart metering projects that have already been implemented. Live access to energy data from a productive project in the Middle East was demonstrated in an impressive way.
