The MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) is a key market for Diehl Metering. Diehl Middle East was founded in 2006 to specifically develop solutions for the region – and to maintain a local presence. Dubai proved to be the right choice for the subsidiary, because the major infrastructure projects in the region can be ideally coordinated and implemented from here.
Since it was set up in 2006, Diehl Middle East has realized a variety of pioneering system projects that are among the largest projects in the MENA region. These include the Beirut Souks in Lebanon, the Jumeirah Beach Residences in Dubai, MASDAR in Abu Dhabi and the Wide Area Fixed Network in Dammam.
Seven employees in Dubai handle sales for the whole Diehl Metering range – and supply the local customers with tailor-made service solutions. The focus is on the water, thermal energy and power segments, and the spectrum of services ranges from meter installation and reading, operation and maintenance to billing.
