Ammunition 76mm Naval Ammunition

For the Navy gun OTO Melara 76mm L/62, Diehl BGT Defence has developed the 76mm ammunition family. Variants available are training ammunition, spotting-charge, high-explosive and blast/fragmentation ammunition. All cartridge variants are characterized by a uniform flight path whose external ballistics meet NATO standards as well as NATO environmental and safety requirements.

Diehl is exclusive supplier of the 76mm naval ammunition for the Bundeswehr.

The 76mm naval ammunition is in series production and has been procured by 20 countries worldwide. Within an ongoing product upgrade, an insensitive ammunition variant is currently being developed.
