Diehl focuses on army and naval equipment at AUSA
Diehl Defence is focusing on army and naval equipment at the AUSA from October 22 to 24, 2012, in Washington, D.C., USA.
Next to the track type 570P for the Abrams M1A1 Main Battle Tank, the subsidiary Diehl Defence Land Systems is showcasing bogie wheels and drive sprockets, which can equip all tracked vehicles of the U.S. Army. Moreover, the light track type 464E, equipping the new PUMA armored infantry combat vehicle as well as the segmented rubber band track DBT 20 of the Bundeswehr´s BV206 armored personnel carrier are on display.
In the ammunition product segment, the subsidiary Diehl BGT Defence is not only presenting the 76 mm naval ammunition, operative in 20 navies worldwide, but also the Floating Smoke Pot, which was delivered to the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as the smoke hand grenade RASMO providing protection in urban operations.
Fuze specialist JUNGHANS microtec, a joint venture between Diehl and Thales, is exhibiting a wide range of fuzes for artillery-, mortar- and naval ammunition.
