PLATINUM TL inverter obtain the unit certificate for BDEW Medium Voltage Directive
The technical directive „Power Generation Equipment Connected to the Medium-Voltage Power Grid" by the BDEW (German Association for Energy and Water Management) of April 4th, 2011, stipulates that photovoltaic inverters have to provide so-called system services for grid support as of April 2011. The plant operator must prove this by presenting unit certificates. For plants that have been in operation since April 1st, 2011, the power plant operator requires that the certificate be provided subsequently.
Our TL inverters have been meeting the requirements of this directive since September of 2011, but the compilation of the certificate was delayed due to a backlog situation at the certification centre.
The unit certificate for the Medium Voltage Directive is now available for our PLATINUM TL inverters (since January of 2012), and is available for download in our download area for all PLATINUM TL inverters.
