This year, the Landjugend Amtzell drama group has staged a play by Bernd Gombold. “Alles bestens geregelt” (”Everything best controlled”) is a play about a farmer’s widow who manages the farm alone with the help of her family after her husband’s death. Her neighbour, the mail carrier and an author do their best to raise dust in the bucolic idyll. All in all, it was a stage performance that made the audience laugh with lots of slapstick and humorous dialogues. The stage setting featured an Allgäu farm – reproduced down to the last detail. Countless solar panels on the roofs of houses and barns are a dominating feature of the Allgäu landscape, so of course the stage setting couldn’t do without its own solar system. To make the scenery as realistic as possible, a PLATINUM inverter of the TL series made its debut performance. With the inverter right in the middle of the stage, the farmer could always keep an eye on the yield of her solar system. Read more

EWE has initiated a pilot project that equips 500 households with intelligent refrigerators and the Smart Home system established by Diehl AKO and their development partner. Diehl AKO from Wangen im Allgäu has developed a special interface for the refrigerators to make them controllable and thus „intelligent“. This could be realized in co-operation with the other partner in this pilot project, BSH (Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte). BSH is a market-leading supplier of household appliances. What is the aim of this field test? Due to the early nuclear phase-out, the significance of regenerative energies has increased considerably.
