Mit der Echelon Systemlösung für Strom komplettiert Diehl Metering das Portfolio und leistet somit die präzise Auslesung von Wasser, thermischer Energie, Gas und Strom aus einer Hand. Die auf Powerline basierende Systemlösung umfasst neben verschiedenen Zählervarianten auch Datenkonzentratoren und eine entsprechende Software-Applikation (NES) zum Betrieb der Lösung.
Die Echelon Stromzähler arbeiten als Ein- oder Mehrtarifzähler. Die bidirektionale Kommunikation zwischen Zählern und Datenkonzentratoren ermöglicht neben dem Empfang von Daten und Alarmmeldungen auch ein Senden von Befehlen sowie vielfältige Funktionen. An die Echelon Zähler können über eine M-Bus Schnittstelle weitere Messgeräte angebunden werden. Neben einer kabelgebunden Anbindung steht auch ein funkbasierender M-Bus-Empfänger zur Verfügung.
Neben Smart Meter und entsprechender Infrastruktur liefert Diehl Metering auch intelligente Kommunikationslösungen. So vereint die Meterus-Middleware der EVB verschiedene Messgeräteinfrastrukturen und stellt die Daten und Funktionen unter-schiedlicher Softwares bereit. Auch vorhandene Messgeräte können integriert werden. Dabei müssen bestehende Gas- oder Wasserzähler nicht einmal digital sein: Mittels Funk auf Basis des Open Metering Standards oder über eine M-Bus-Anbindung werden auch ältere Messgeräte eingebunden.

The HYDRO-PORT PULSE offers the possibility to connect resource meters with pulse output to an M-Bus network (transformation of pulses to M-Bus protocol). It is suitable for all meter types with pulse transmitter, open collector or current loop (S0) output.
The HYDRO-PORT ANALOG offers the possibility to digitalize analog inputs and to convert them into M-Bus protocol. Up to two 4 ... 20 mA current loop inputs and one Pt temperature sensor can be digitalized in parallel. Instead of the two inputs one 4 ... 20 mA current loop output can be used.
The HYDRO-PORT CONTROL offers the possibility to set up simple controlling and switching tasks. These tasks are set via M-Bus protocol through an M-Bus master (IZAR CENTER).
The IZAR PORT PULSE MINI offers the possibility to connect resource meters with pulse output to an M-Bus network (transformation of pulses to M-Bus protocol). It is suitable for all meter types with pulse transmitter or open collector output.
