Mit der Echelon Systemlösung für Strom komplettiert Diehl Metering das Portfolio und leistet somit die präzise Auslesung von Wasser, thermischer Energie, Gas und Strom aus einer Hand. Die auf Powerline basierende Systemlösung umfasst neben verschiedenen Zählervarianten auch Datenkonzentratoren und eine entsprechende Software-Applikation (NES) zum Betrieb der Lösung.
Die Echelon Stromzähler arbeiten als Ein- oder Mehrtarifzähler. Die bidirektionale Kommunikation zwischen Zählern und Datenkonzentratoren ermöglicht neben dem Empfang von Daten und Alarmmeldungen auch ein Senden von Befehlen sowie vielfältige Funktionen. An die Echelon Zähler können über eine M-Bus Schnittstelle weitere Messgeräte angebunden werden. Neben einer kabelgebunden Anbindung steht auch ein funkbasierender M-Bus-Empfänger zur Verfügung.
Neben Smart Meter und entsprechender Infrastruktur liefert Diehl Metering auch intelligente Kommunikationslösungen. So vereint die Meterus-Middleware der EVB verschiedene Messgeräteinfrastrukturen und stellt die Daten und Funktionen unter-schiedlicher Softwares bereit. Auch vorhandene Messgeräte können integriert werden. Dabei müssen bestehende Gas- oder Wasserzähler nicht einmal digital sein: Mittels Funk auf Basis des Open Metering Standards oder über eine M-Bus-Anbindung werden auch ältere Messgeräte eingebunden.

AQUARIUS is a domestic water meter designed for measuring consumption of cold or hot water in housing blocks. AQUARIUS is MID approved and meets the metrology standard OIML R49, EN14154 and ISO 4064. Magnetic transmission is used to insulate the register from the hydraulic part, and the register rotates to ensure easier index reading. AQUARIUS belongs to the Diehl Metering modular range and may be fitted, even after it is installed, with an IZAR PULSE pulse emitter, an IZAR RADIO or an IZAR DOSING device.
ALTAIR water meter is characterized by its versatility. Its large measuring chamber means that it can be used for submetering or as a main meter. ALTAIR is a modular meter and therefore can be fitted at any time with IZAR RADIO reading system, IZAR DOSING or the pulse emitter IZAR PULSE gateway to other systems.
ALTAIR V4 represents the new generation of volumetric meters developed within the framework of the MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) and field requirements. ALTAIR V4 is very compact, thus adapting to the most restrictive environments (i.e. water boxes). ALTAIR V4 is a robust meter that is compatible with the different qualities of water. ALTAIR V4 is modular and may be fitted at any time with the IZAR RADIO, the IZAR DOSING device, or the pulse emitter IZAR PULSE gateway to other systems.
